Rehabilitation Services

Our on-staff therapy team consists of occupational, physical and speech therapists whose services are available both in-house and on an outpatient basis. Their goal is to bring every resident back to a full and functional life.

 

Occupational therapy helps the resident regain as much independence as possible in the Activities of Daily Living such as eating, bathing, dressing and homemaking skills.

 

Physical therapy helps regain functional strength and endurance in both upper and lower body muscles and, if necessary, adapt to a permanent disability.

 

Pain is treated through the use of modalities such as: TENS, ultrasound, heat and exercise.

 

Speech therapy enhances communicative, cognitive and swallowing functions through the use of compensatory strategies and therapeutic techniques.
